70 years ago I spent summers with my uncle on Little Splithand Lake. His name was Warren F. Chapman. He had two small cottages there. The fishing was great, the outhouse smelled, and the ice house was full. Down to the point the Ackerman family had a similar place. We got much of our food from Joe & Rose Koch’s nearby farm. Does anyone back there remember these folks?

Does Peace Brunsgurger still live up there. I live in Colorado an have grown thoroughly sick and tired of its lifestyle. Ely too can have real estate prices that do not match wages. It is a great way to separate classes. Promote Ely, but do not encourage people to live there without also promoting the need for industry that matches housing prices.

Having been in the Real Estate business for awhile now I have come to the conclusion that being a part of the LakePlace team was the smartest move that I have made in my career. The brains behind the name have given me the tools that I need to stay busy in a time when most agents are looking for other jobs. The men at LakePlace are ahead of the curve and that is why they are having success in today’s market. Growing your market share now is a great feat when times are slower than normal. So thanks again for the good work and smart thinking you guys..

I feel for you. We are going through the same thing with AOL. AOL has a stupid, stupid “SPAM” button on their email interface and people just click it instead of “delete”. We get reported as SPAM for sending invoices and receipts!!! Can you believe that? And then we have other AOL customers who complain that we don’t respond to their emails. Which of course we do but…they never get through. Sickening.
