If you search the Lake Minnetonka real estate market - every now and then you will come across a seasonal cabin on Minnetonka - yes, you can still find cabins on Lake Minnetonka! A lot of people are not aware of this. When you hear someone saying that they are going to the cabin - Lake Minnetonka - or any metro lakes for that matter - usually do not come to mind…but they are out there. Just check out the Twin Cities lake homes section of LakePlace.com - you will have 3000+ listings to go through - but some cabins will pop up! Some other areas to look at: Forest Lake, White Bear Lake, Prior Lake, & Medicine Lake.  Have fun!

I talk to a lot of lake property buyers every day - and I’m always surprised when I find out just how many people have lived in this part of the country their entire life and have not visited Lake Vermilion.  For those of you who have been to the Big V - you know what I am talking about.  For those of you who have not, I have to recommend that you make the drive Up North this summer.  We have a few great Lake Vermilion Resorts listed on LakePlace.com as well as several Lake Vermilion cabin rentals.  Their is plenty to see and do.  Lake Vermilion is a world-class walleye and muskie lake.  The rocky cliffs along the shoreline will make you feel like you are in the Boundary Waters…you may even catch a glimpse of a moose along the shoreline.
