My wife and I were stood up last week because of the beauty of the Northshore of Lake Superior…seriously. My aunt and uncle from Texas were in town last week for a convention. They decided to spend one day (the day before we were supposed to hang out) along the Northshore of Lake Superior. Well, they had so much fun up north, my aunt called and cancelled our dinner plans because they were just “too tired” and decided to take an earlier flight back. So what did they do? They visited the Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, & Canal Park – all in one day (including a round-trip from Minneapolis). That is a lot to see in one day…especially if you are from Texas (everyone in the North knows that the South moves at a little slower pace).Â
Anyway, so what is my point? I guess my point is that the Northshore of Lake Superior is an extremely beautiful place. Once you visit it, you will know what I mean. LakePlace.com features a couple of great Lake Superior resorts, dozens of Lake Superior vacation rentals, and virtually every Lake Superior property on the market.  This is one of those special places that has to be on your “MUST SEE” list.
