Lake Kabetogama

Today I have chosen Lake Kabetogama as the Needle in a Haystack.  For those of you who are not familiar with Kabetogama - it sits on the edge of Voyageurs National Park and the vast majority of the lake is protected from development.  What does this mean?  It means that when you buy a Lake Kabetogama property - your view will never be altered by new construction.  The Kabetogama property pictured above is owned by a friend of ours - buy this property and you will never have to worry about mowing the lawn or making the beds.  It is part of a resort conversion, if you are not planning on using your place - the association will rent it out for you.  This particular property brought $42k in rental income in 2005 - according to our mortgage calculator, if you purchase this property at $550k (asking price) with zero down, you will own this beautiful Lake Kabetogama home -and- put money in your pocket.  Not a bad deal.
